Please Read Before Placing Your Order
By purchasing from Cascadia Design Group, LLC dba Cascadia Outdoor Cushions (“Cascadia,” “we,” “our”), you agree to the following terms and conditions. These terms govern custom cushion orders, returns, cancellations, billing, warranty, and shipping policies.
This agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Washington. If any provision of this agreement is deemed unlawful, void, or unenforceable, it will be considered severable and will not affect the validity of the remaining terms.
All cushions and pillows from Cascadia Outdoor Cushions are custom-made to order and cannot be returned, exchanged, or refunded.
Each order is crafted specifically to your measurements and fabric selection.
We do not inventory or resell custom cushions, as they are made exclusively for you.
We will work with you to achieve the best possible outcome, but once an order is in production, it cannot be returned or refunded.
In rare cases where a partial or full refund is approved (for example, to resolve a workmanship concern), any amounts paid for special-order fabrics or COM (Customer’s Own Material) are excluded from the refundable amount, as outlined below.
Before placing an order, customers are responsible for the following:
Confirming all measurements are accurate. We manufacture cushions based on the exact dimensions provided at the time of purchase.
Understanding color and texture variations. We are not responsible for color discrepancies due to differences in monitor displays. We highly recommend ordering fabric samples before placing your order.
Verifying cushion details. Customers must review fabric ties, seams, zippers, and foam thickness before finalizing an order.
Measuring according to our guidelines. Cushion sizes may appear different from previous cushions due to stretching or compression over time. Measure as instructed on our website.
Accepting comfort levels. If a cushion is made according to the ordered dimensions but is not as soft or firm as expected, this is not a valid reason for return.
Paying for corrections due to customer errors. Any modifications required due to incorrect information provided by the customer are the responsibility of the customer, including all shipping costs.
Acknowledging that all lead times are estimates and may be extended due to fabric availability, mill backorders, or seasonal demand.
“Special-order fabric” refers to any fabric that is not listed as a standard stock option on the product page and cannot be ordered through the normal website selection process. This includes, but is not limited to:
Fabrics sourced by special request.
Fabrics shown only as swatches or samples but not as a standard choice in the product dropdown/selection.
Discontinued or limited-availability fabrics.
Any fabric that requires a custom quote, manual entry, or off-line ordering process.
Even if Cascadia provides or mails a fabric sample, the fabric is still considered special-order if it is not a standard selectable option for that product on our website.
All special-order fabrics are purchased specifically for your project and are non-returnable and non-refundable once ordered, regardless of any later changes of mind, cancellations, or dissatisfaction with color, texture, or pattern direction.
If a refund is approved for any reason (including quality or workmanship issues with the finished product), the cost of any special-order fabric, along with any related inbound shipping or mill fees, will be deducted from the refund amount and remains the responsibility of the customer.
“Customer’s Own Material (COM)” means the customer is supplying their own fabric for Cascadia to cut and sew into custom cushions or pillows.
By sending COM fabric to Cascadia, the customer agrees that:
Cascadia is responsible only for the cutting, sewing, and workmanship of the finished product, not for the cost, performance, colorfastness, or suitability of the fabric itself.
Cascadia is not responsible for flaws, defects, or color variations within the COM fabric; any such issues must be addressed directly with the original fabric vendor.
If Cascadia (or our factory) makes a mistake using COM fabric:
If it is determined that we cut or sew the COM fabric incorrectly based on the approved order specifications, we will, at our discretion, remake the product to the original specifications at no additional labor charge.
Cascadia does not reimburse, refund, or replace COM fabric itself, even in the case of a factory error. If replacement fabric is required, it is the customer’s responsibility to supply additional COM fabric.
If the order is changed or cancelled by the customer:
Once COM fabric has been received, allocated to a job, and/or cut for production, the value of the COM fabric is non-refundable, even if the customer cancels or changes the order.
Where possible, unused COM fabric may be returned to the customer at their expense for shipping and handling. Any refund or adjustment that may be approved will apply only to Cascadia’s labor and standard materials portion, not to the cost of COM fabric.
Many outdoor and upholstery fabrics are manufactured in a specific direction, sometimes referred to as “railroaded” or having a defined pattern/texture direction. The direction of the weave, stripe, texture, or design is determined by the fabric mill and how the fabric comes off the roll and is not considered a defect.
It is the customer’s responsibility to review fabric samples and product images and to understand the direction and appearance of the fabric before placing an order.
If you have questions about how a particular fabric will be oriented on your cushions or pillows, you must request clarification in writing before you approve and place your order.
Unless otherwise agreed to in writing on your order confirmation, Cascadia will cut and sew all cushions and pillows in accordance with:
Standard industry practices; and
The fabric’s manufactured direction as it comes from the roll.
Dissatisfaction with the direction of the fabric, rotation of the pattern, or how the design appears once sewn is not a valid reason for a refund, return, remake, or discount.
Because our products are custom-made and most fabrics are special-order or custom-allocated, orders cannot be returned or refunded due to fabric direction or pattern orientation. Any remake requested solely for fabric direction or pattern orientation will be treated as a new order at the current price.
All lead times are estimates and begin from the date your order is placed.
Orders are processed in the order they are received.
Cascadia Outdoor Cushions does not guarantee delivery dates.
If your selected fabric is on backorder or delayed from the manufacturer, your order timeline may be extended beyond our standard quoted lead time.
These fabric delays are beyond our control. We will notify you if a fabric delay significantly impacts your order and, when possible, provide alternative fabric options.
Orders cannot be canceled or refunded due to fabric backorders once the fabric (including special-order or COM) has been allocated or cut.
While rare, mistakes in production can occur. If you believe your cushions were made incorrectly, please follow these steps so that we can review and resolve the issue quickly:
Provide your order number in your email so we can locate your details.
Send clear photos of:
The original cushions and/or the furniture (when possible).
The new cushions you received.
A measuring tape placed on the new cushions showing the final measurements.
If available, include photos showing how measurements were originally taken. This is often helpful in identifying where the issue occurred.
Once we receive your photos and order information, our team will carefully review the details. If it is determined that your cushions were made incorrectly by the factory, we will remake or adjust them at no cost to you (labor and standard materials). For COM orders, please refer to the COM section above.
If the review shows that the cushions were made correctly according to the order specifications but do not fit due to measuring errors, customer-provided dimensions, or design expectations, the order will not qualify as a factory error. In such cases, we will discuss options for corrections at the customer’s expense, including any associated shipping charges.
Upon receiving your package, please inspect it for shipping damage before opening.
Photograph any damage before unboxing and notify us within two (2) business days.
We require photos and original packaging to file a claim with the carrier on your behalf.
We are responsible for:
Using the fabric(s) selected by the customer when manufacturing cushions.
Ensuring all cushions meet our quality standards, with a size tolerance of ±½ inch in width, depth, or thickness.
Correcting any mistakes made in production, provided that:
The issue is reported within five (5) business days of receipt.
The cushions have not been used and are returned in original condition (free of stains, pet hair, odors, etc.).
The customer makes the cushions available for pickup via the carrier we arrange.
If a cushion is returned for review and determined to be correctly made based on the customer’s order (including fabric selection, COM, and fabric direction as described above), the customer will be responsible for any return shipping costs and any costs associated with requested changes.
Order changes must be requested within one (1) business day after placing an order.
Changes requested after production begins will require additional fees based on materials and labor.
Order cancellations are accepted within one (1) business day. However, once fabric (including special-order fabric or COM) has been allocated or cut, the order cannot be canceled or refunded.
Orders cannot be canceled due to fabric delays or manufacturer backorders once fabric has been allocated or cut.
We strive for accuracy in product descriptions, pricing, and images on our website. However, errors may occur:
If an item is incorrectly priced due to a typographical or technical error, we reserve the right to cancel the order and correct the mistake.
Cascadia Outdoor Cushions is not responsible for errors on third-party websites linking to our products.
Only one (1) promotional code can be used per order.
We are not responsible for expired or invalid codes posted on third-party websites.
Promotional codes may be discontinued at any time.
All orders require 100% prepayment before production begins.
Cascadia Outdoor Cushions does not store credit card details for security reasons.
All payments must be made in U.S. dollars.
