Custom Outdoor Cushions, Pillows & Replacement Slings – Terms and Conditions
Effective Date: May 25, 2026
Please read carefully before placing your order. By purchasing from Cascadia Outdoor Cushions, a DBA of Cascadia Design Group (“Cascadia,” “we,” “our,” or “us”), you agree to the following Terms and Conditions. These policies contain important information regarding custom manufacturing, lead times, fabric selection, shipping, warranties, returns, and customer responsibilities.
Because every cushion, pillow, and replacement sling we produce is custom-built specifically for your order, we strongly encourage customers to carefully review all measurements, cushion styles, fabric selections, and product options before purchasing. Unlike mass-produced inventory products, custom outdoor cushions are individually manufactured based on the exact specifications you provide.
We highly recommend ordering fabric samples whenever color, texture, or pattern is important to your project. Outdoor fabrics can appear very different depending on lighting conditions, surrounding colors, monitor calibration, and device screen settings. Viewing actual fabric samples is the best way to ensure confidence in your final selection.
It is also important to plan ahead when ordering custom cushions. While we provide estimated lead times, production schedules can vary depending on seasonal demand, fabric availability, manufacturing capacity, and shipping carrier schedules.
Our goal is simple: to create custom outdoor cushions and slings that fit beautifully, perform well, and provide long-lasting comfort and durability. Taking a few extra minutes to carefully review your selections before ordering helps ensure the final product meets your expectations.
If you have any questions before placing your order, we are always happy to help guide you through the process.

All cushions, pillows, and replacement slings sold by Cascadia Outdoor Cushions are custom-made to order based on the customer’s specifications, measurements, fabric selections, and style options.
Because these products are individually manufactured specifically for each customer, they are considered custom products and are non-returnable, non-exchangeable, and non-refundable once production has begun. This policy applies regardless of fabric selection, style choice, or custom dimensions.
Custom manufacturing begins shortly after your order is placed, including fabric allocation, material purchasing, cutting schedules, and production planning. For this reason, customers should carefully review all order details before completing their purchase.

By placing an order with Cascadia Outdoor Cushions, you acknowledge and agree that you are responsible for verifying all measurements, specifications, and product selections before purchasing.
This includes reviewing cushion styles, seam placement, piping options, ties, thickness selections, hinge locations, and overall dimensions. Customers should not rely solely on old cushions for measurements, as foam compression, fabric stretching, and age can affect the accuracy of existing cushions.
We also strongly encourage customers to order fabric samples whenever color or texture is important. Fabric appearance can vary significantly based on lighting, device screens, and surrounding décor.
Additionally, comfort preferences are subjective. Cushion firmness, softness, and seating comfort can vary from person to person and are not considered product defects.

Special-order fabrics include any fabrics not listed as standard selections directly on the product page. These fabrics are purchased specifically for the individual customer order and often require additional sourcing or ordering directly from the fabric mill.
Because these materials are specially ordered and allocated specifically for your project, they are non-returnable and non-refundable under all circumstances once ordered.
Customers should carefully review all fabric selections and sample materials prior to ordering special-order fabrics.

For Customer’s Own Material (COM) orders, Cascadia Outdoor Cushions is responsible only for the cutting and sewing of the provided material.
We are not responsible for the quality, durability, UV resistance, colorfastness, or long-term performance of customer-supplied fabrics. Additionally, we are not responsible for dye lot inconsistencies, fabric flaws, insufficient yardage, pattern alignment limitations, or material shortages.
If replacement fabric or additional yardage is required during production, the customer is responsible for supplying additional material at their own expense.

Fabric direction, pattern orientation, stripe alignment, and overall pattern layout are determined by the manufacturer based on standard upholstery practices, product construction requirements, and material yield efficiency.
Because outdoor fabrics vary significantly in weave, repeat, scale, and direction, slight variations in pattern placement or orientation are normal and are not considered manufacturing defects.
Customers are encouraged to review fabric samples carefully and request clarification before ordering if pattern direction or layout is especially important to their project.

All lead times provided by Cascadia Outdoor Cushions are estimates only and are not guaranteed delivery dates. Production timing can vary depending on fabric availability, seasonal demand, manufacturing schedules, shipping carrier delays, and overall order volume.
If your project is tied to a specific event, installation date, vacation property, or seasonal deadline, we strongly recommend ordering well in advance.
A quoted lead time, such as 4–6 weeks or 6–8 weeks, means your order is expected to ship within that approximate timeframe, not necessarily on an exact date. Shipping transit time is additional and varies based on carrier schedules and delivery location.

Production delays may occasionally occur due to fabric mill backorders, shipping interruptions, or supply chain delays affecting outdoor fabric manufacturers.
If your selected fabric becomes temporarily unavailable, we may offer similar alternative fabric options or place the order on hold until the original material becomes available.
Because every custom cushion is built using the customer’s selected fabric, production cannot begin until the required material has arrived at the manufacturing facility.

Once your order enters production, it remains in manufacturing until completed and shipped. Because custom cushion manufacturers generally do not provide incremental production updates, we do not provide interim status updates during this phase.
Customers will receive tracking information immediately once the order has shipped. We appreciate your patience during the custom manufacturing process.

Cascadia Outdoor Cushions works with multiple manufacturing facilities across the United States that specialize in different types of outdoor cushions, pillows, and replacement slings.
As a result, orders may be produced at different factory locations, shipped separately, and delivered on different dates depending on the products included in the order.
This is completely normal for custom-manufactured products and helps ensure that each item is built by the production team best suited for that specific product category.

Changes or cancellations must be requested within one (1) business day of placing your order.
Once fabric has been allocated, ordered, cut, or production scheduling has begun, the order cannot be changed, canceled, refunded, or modified in any way.
Because all products are custom-made specifically for the customer, materials and production resources are committed very quickly after an order is placed.

All packages should be inspected immediately upon delivery. Any shipping damage must be reported within two (2) business days of receipt.
Damage claims must include clear photos of the damaged product, photos of the original packaging, and retention of all packaging materials for carrier inspection purposes.
Failure to report shipping damage within the required timeframe may result in denial of the shipping claim.

Cascadia Outdoor Cushions provides a one (1) year warranty against defects in materials and workmanship on custom cushions.
Replacement slings include a one (1) year workmanship warranty. Sling fabrics themselves carry separate manufacturer warranties based on the specific fabric supplier.
Many premium outdoor fabrics include separate manufacturer warranties, including:
Sunbrella® – 5 Years
Outdura® – 5 Years
Revolution® – 5 Years
Tempotest® – 6 Years
Manufacturer warranties are subject to each fabric company’s terms and conditions and generally do not cover normal wear and tear, improper cleaning methods, environmental exposure, mildew, chemical damage, or acts of nature.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Cascadia Outdoor Cushions shall not be liable for customer-provided measurement errors, delays caused by manufacturers or fabric suppliers, or indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use the product.
This includes loss of use, inconvenience, dissatisfaction based on subjective comfort preferences, project delays, or environmental conditions beyond our control.
In all cases, Cascadia’s total liability shall not exceed the amount originally paid for the product.

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Washington, without regard to conflict of law principles.

No. All quoted lead times are estimates only and are not guaranteed delivery dates. Production timing can vary depending on fabric availability, seasonal demand, manufacturing schedules, and overall order volume.
While we work hard to complete orders as efficiently as possible, custom outdoor cushions are individually handcrafted products, and timelines may fluctuate throughout the year.

No. Shipping transit time is separate from production lead time and is not included in quoted manufacturing estimates.
For example, a quoted lead time of 6–8 weeks refers to the estimated production timeframe before the order ships. Actual delivery timing will also depend on carrier transit schedules, delivery location, weather conditions, and shipping network delays.

Orders remain in active production until completed. Because custom cushion manufacturers generally do not provide incremental production milestones, we do not send routine updates during the manufacturing process.
Once your order ships, you will immediately receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking information. We appreciate your patience while your custom cushions or slings are being handcrafted.

Yes. Cascadia Outdoor Cushions works with multiple manufacturing facilities across the United States, and different products within the same order may be produced at different locations.
Because of this, orders may ship separately, arrive in multiple boxes, or be delivered on different dates. This is completely normal for custom-manufactured products.

Customers are responsible for verifying all measurements and specifications before placing an order. Because custom cushions are built specifically to the measurements provided, measurement errors are not covered under warranty or return policies.
If incorrect measurements are submitted, corrections or replacement cushions would be the responsibility of the customer and would require a new order at the customer’s expense.

Yes. We strongly recommend ordering fabric samples whenever color, texture, or pattern is important to your project.
Outdoor fabrics can appear very different depending on lighting conditions, device screens, monitor calibration, surrounding décor, and natural outdoor sunlight. Viewing actual fabric samples is the best way to confidently select the right material for your outdoor furniture.

All packages should be inspected immediately upon delivery. Any shipping damage must be reported within two (2) business days and should include photos of the damaged product, photos of the packaging, and retention of all original packaging materials.
Prompt reporting is important because shipping carriers often require documentation within a limited timeframe in order to process damage claims.

No. Fabric direction, stripe orientation, seam placement, and overall pattern layout are determined by the manufacturer using standard upholstery practices and material yield considerations.
Because outdoor fabrics vary in weave, pattern repeat, and construction, slight variations in orientation or pattern placement are considered normal and are not considered manufacturing defects.

Orders may only be canceled within one (1) business day of being placed and before fabric has been allocated, ordered, or cut.
Once production preparation begins, the order cannot be canceled, changed, refunded, or modified because materials and manufacturing resources have already been committed specifically to your custom order.
