Order Status & Lead Time

Order Status & Lead Times for Custom Outdoor Cushions & Replacement Slings

At Cascadia Outdoor Cushions, every product we create is custom-made to order — built specifically for your space, your furniture, and your chosen fabric. We don’t pull items from a warehouse shelf. We craft them just for you.

That means a little patience is required… but the result is something truly worth it.

Order Status

Once your order is placed, it is carefully entered into our production schedule and processed in the order received.

Because each cushion and sling is custom-built, there are no “in-progress” updates during production. This is completely normal for made-to-order products.

Here’s what to expect:

  • Your order is confirmed and scheduled for production

  • Your cushions or slings are handcrafted to your specifications

  • You will receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking as soon as your order leaves our facility

We know it’s exciting to receive your new cushions, and we appreciate your patience while we build something just for you.

Production Updates During Your Order

Because every cushion and sling we produce is custom-made and built in sequence, we do not send updates during the production process. We understand that many customers expect a mid-production check-in, but at that stage, the only update available is that your order is actively in production and progressing as scheduled. For example, if your quoted lead time is 4–6 weeks and you reach out at week 3, the status will still reflect the original timeframe of 4–6 weeks. There are no additional milestones or partial updates to report during this period. Rest assured, your order is moving through our production queue, and you will receive immediate notification with tracking details as soon as it ships.

Important: Lead Times Are Approximate

All lead times provided are estimates, not guarantees. Because every order is custom-made and dependent on fabric availability, production schedules, and seasonal demand, we are unable to guarantee an exact delivery date. If your project is tied to a specific event, party, or deadline, we strongly recommend placing your order well in advance. For example, a quoted 6-week lead time means your order is expected to ship around that timeframe—not exactly on the 6-week mark. Additionally, shipping time is not included in production lead times and will vary based on your location and carrier transit schedules.

Multiple Manufacturing Locations & Shipments

Cascadia Outdoor Cushions partners with several trusted manufacturing facilities across the United States to produce our custom cushions, pillows, and slings. Each factory specializes in different product types and may operate on slightly different production schedules, which can affect overall timing. Depending on what you ordered, your items may be produced at more than one location. As a result, your order may ship in multiple packages and arrive on different days. This is completely normal and ensures that each product is made by the team best suited for that specific item.

Lead Times & Fabric Availability

Our typical production timeline is approximately 6–8 weeks, but this can vary depending on:

  • Fabric availability

  • Seasonal demand (spring and early summer are peak times)

  • Manufacturer production schedules

Because we work with premium outdoor fabrics such as Sunbrella®, Outdura®, Tempotest®, and others, fabric availability plays a major role in timing.

Occasionally, fabric mills experience delays or backorders, which may extend production times to 8–10 weeks or longer.

If your selected fabric is affected:

  • We will notify you as soon as possible

  • We can suggest in-stock alternatives to help speed up your order

  • Your order will move into production immediately once fabric is available

Why Custom Cushions Take Time

Custom outdoor cushions and replacement slings are not mass-produced products. Each piece is:

  • Cut and sewn to your exact measurements

  • Built with premium outdoor foam and materials

  • Crafted by experienced professionals in the USA

This level of customization ensures a better fit, longer lifespan, and a higher-quality finished product.

Handcrafted. Custom. Worth the Wait.

Every order we produce is a one-of-a-kind piece designed specifically for your outdoor furniture. While lead times may vary, our commitment to quality never does.

We believe great outdoor spaces are built with intention — and that’s exactly how your cushions are made.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

How long does it take to receive my custom cushions?

Most orders ship within 6–8 weeks, but lead times can extend to 8–10 weeks or more depending on fabric availability and seasonal demand.

Why is my order taking longer than expected?

The most common reason for delays is fabric backorders from the mill. Because your cushions are made using your selected fabric, production cannot begin until that material is available.

Can I get updates on my order during production?

We do not provide status updates during production. Once your order is placed, it is scheduled and completed in sequence. You will receive tracking information as soon as your order ships.

Will contacting customer service speed up my order?

No — all orders are processed in the order they are received. Contacting us before the quoted lead time will not accelerate production, but we’re always happy to answer general questions.

Can I change my fabric to speed up delivery?

Yes — if your fabric is backordered, we can recommend in-stock alternatives that may reduce your lead time.

Are any cushions or slings in stock?

No. All products are custom-made to order. We do not carry pre-made inventory.

Where are Cascadia cushions made?

All cushions and slings are proudly made in the USA, using high-quality materials and expert craftsmanship.

Do lead times change throughout the year?

Yes. Lead times are typically longer during peak season (spring and early summer) and may be shorter during off-season months.
