Replacement Sling Warranty

All custom replacement slings manufactured by Cascadia Outdoor Cushions include a one-year warranty against manufacturing defects in workmanship and construction. Every sling is individually cut and sewn to order using professional sewing methods and outdoor-rated sling fabrics designed specifically for patio furniture applications.

The sling fabric itself carries a separate manufacturer warranty, typically providing up to three years of protection against qualifying fabric defects, excessive fading, and strength loss under normal residential outdoor use conditions.

This warranty applies only to normal residential outdoor use and does not cover issues caused by:

• Improper installation
• Incorrect customer measurements
• Damage from misuse or abuse
• Severe weather exposure
• Harsh chemicals or improper cleaning products
• Mold or mildew caused by lack of maintenance
• Normal aging, stretching, or environmental wear over time

Routine cleaning and proper seasonal maintenance are strongly recommended to maximize the lifespan and appearance of your replacement patio slings.

Replacement Sling Return Policy

Because all replacement patio slings are custom-made to order according to the customer’s measurements and fabric selection, replacement slings are non-returnable and non-refundable.

Each sling is manufactured specifically for your outdoor furniture frame dimensions and cannot be restocked or resold once completed.

Customers should carefully verify all sling measurements before placing an order. We strongly recommend reviewing our sling measuring guides and installation instructions prior to purchasing replacement slings.

Additionally, outdoor sling fabric colors may appear differently depending on monitor calibration, lighting conditions, device screens, and surrounding outdoor environments. For the most accurate color selection, we recommend ordering sling fabric samples before purchasing.

Sling Billing & Order Policy

All custom replacement sling orders are charged in full at the time of purchase. Because every sling is custom-manufactured specifically for your order, production preparation begins shortly after the order is placed.

This includes material allocation, cutting preparation, fabric scheduling, and sewing production planning. Once production begins, custom sling orders cannot be canceled or refunded.

If you are uncertain about your sling measurements, sling rail dimensions, or patio furniture fit, our customer support team is available to assist you before ordering. Proper measuring is critical to achieving the best possible replacement sling fit.

Sling Size Discrepancy – Important Installation Information

One of the most common concerns customers experience during replacement sling installation is that the new sling appears smaller or tighter than the old sling before installation.

This is completely normal.

Over time, original patio slings naturally stretch, loosen, and expand due to years of outdoor exposure, body weight, heat, moisture, and use. A properly manufactured replacement sling is intentionally designed to fit tightly across the frame once fully installed.

For this reason:

• Do not compare your new sling directly to your old stretched sling
• Complete chair disassembly is required before installation
• All bolts should be loosened to allow the sling rails to move properly
• The sling fabric must be stretched tightly during installation to achieve proper support and appearance

If your sling feels excessively tight during installation, please review our replacement sling installation videos and instructions before assuming the sling was manufactured incorrectly.

If a manufacturing error is confirmed, Cascadia Outdoor Cushions will gladly correct the issue at no charge.

Errors in Sling Manufacturing by Cascadia

If a replacement patio sling was manufactured incorrectly by Cascadia Outdoor Cushions, we will work to correct the issue as quickly as possible.

Requests for manufacturing-related adjustments or corrections must be made within forty-five (45) days of the original invoice date to qualify for no-charge adjustments or remakes.

After this timeframe, additional fees may apply depending on the nature of the requested correction and the condition of the sling.

Our goal is always to ensure customers receive replacement patio slings that properly fit their outdoor furniture frames and perform as intended.

Errors in Measuring by Customer

If a customer measuring error occurs, Cascadia Outdoor Cushions will still work with you to achieve the best possible fit whenever possible.

Depending on the situation, sling alteration services may be available to adjust the width or length of the sling fabric. Alteration fees typically range between $10 and $20 per sling depending on the complexity of the adjustment required.

All alteration requests related to customer measuring errors must be submitted within forty-five (45) days of receiving the order.

After this timeframe, alteration requests may still be possible but will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis.

Sling Alteration Request Procedure

If you have carefully followed our patio sling installation instructions and believe your replacement sling still requires adjustment, you must contact Cascadia Outdoor Cushions before returning the sling.

Our technical support team will review:

• Your original measurements
• Your installation process
• Final sling dimensions
• Chair frame conditions
• Installation technique

If an adjustment is determined to be necessary, you will be issued a Sling Alteration Request Number. This number must accompany any sling being returned for alteration or adjustment.

DO NOT return replacement slings without first obtaining a Sling Alteration Request Number from our support team.

Sling Alteration Tolerances

Replacement sling fabrics naturally stretch during installation and use. Because of this, minor dimensional variations are considered normal within the patio sling industry.

Cascadia Outdoor Cushions will generally not alter replacement slings when:

• Width measurements are within ± ¼ inch

• Length measurements are within ± ½ inch

These tolerances fall within normal manufacturing and installation variation ranges for replacement sling fabrics.

In some cases, if a sling feels slightly loose, we may recommend using additional sling spline material to help tighten the fit within the sling rails.

Sling Installation – Important Information

Installing replacement patio slings requires full disassembly of the chair, chaise lounge, or outdoor furniture frame. This process can be physically demanding, especially on older patio furniture with worn hardware or tight sling rails.

For proper installation:

• Fully loosen or remove chair bolts
• Allow sling rails to separate from the frame
• Slide sling fabric completely into the rails
• Stretch the sling tightly across the frame during assembly
• Reassemble the frame gradually while aligning hardware properly

New replacement slings are intentionally tight when first installed because proper tension is necessary for comfort, support, and long-term performance.
